Because of his blonde hair... "Donald Trump" is the talk of Bangladesh!

An albino buffalo named “Donald Trump” because his blond mane resembles the US President’s hair has become the talk of social networking sites in Bangladesh, prompting many to flock to his farm and take pictures of it before it is slaughtered on the occasion of Eid al-Adha at the end of this month.
Its owner, Dia El-Din Merida, says that his younger brother was the one who gave the buffalo this name, because its mane resembles the blond hair that characterizes the American president.
For a month, social media influencers, spectators and children have been flocking to the Narayangang farm on the outskirts of the capital, Dhaka, where the buffalo live, wanting to see this animal, which has become a local star.
Merida (38 years old) told Agence France-Presse, "The only luxury that buffaloes enjoy is bathing four times a day."
The albino buffalo, which has white or pink fur as a result of a lack of melanin, is very rare.
Merida points out that the similarities between this animal and Trump are limited to hair color. He added, "It is a very friendly buffalo. It eats like the rest, does not fight over food, and lives in the same barn."
Bangladesh, which has a population of 170 million, the majority of whom are Muslims, is preparing to celebrate Eid al-Adha on May 28.
In recent years, the passion surrounding these religious rituals has turned into more elaborate and organized celebrations, as animals are increasingly cared for and decorated with wreaths and ornaments in preparation for the Day of Sacrifice.
On this day, more than 12 million heads of livestock, including goats, sheep, cows and buffalo, are expected to be slaughtered, a rare opportunity for the poorest families to eat meat.
Merida, who had to limit the number of visitors to the farm, says that the buffalo, exhausted by the noise surrounding them, lost weight. However, the children gather at the fence, hoping to see him.
Faisal Ahmed (30 years old) is among the people who managed to get close enough to the buffalo to photograph it. “Honestly, it looks like President Donald Trump,” says the businessman, who came with five friends and relatives to see the buffalo.
This is not the only buffalo that has been named after a character. Bangladesh also has a golden-skinned bull named “Neymar” after the famous Brazilian football player whose hair is platinum blonde.
A few days before Eid al-Adha, Merida watches emotionally as his four-year-old buffalo sniffs a bucket of feed. He says: "I feel sad. I took care of him for a whole year, and we became very famous because of him," adding: "I will miss Donald Trump, but this is the essence of Eid al-Adha: sacrifice."
